So you may notice a few news articles missing. This is because the site you see now is a backup from the site a few months ago. Silly me and not keeping up my backups. Good news to this, however, is that for the cost of a temporary loss of news, I finally decided to go to a payed host for the site which makes things loads easier on me. Not much is different right now, but there could be some neat additions in the coming months. Keep your eyes peeled.

Finally, after about 2 years of waiting, E Nomine is releasing another CD. Unfortunately, it seems that it is only a single, but nevertheless, it is better than nothing. Gaberl on the forums found it after poking around. Here is the link to that discusssion.
A basic sum up: it will be called Heilig and will be released in two editions: a 2 CD and single CD. Details aren't known for sure yet but the single CD will most likely be in the same arena as the Das Böse single: a bunch of remixes and an extended edition, maybe another song or two. The 2 CD will probably include a DVD or something that has a video on it; either the making of or an actual music video. So, after doing some things at work in the way of working with databases, I realized that a news archive is very easy to make. I just have to find out whether or not this host allows me to use .asp files and find out what kind of databases they allow on their servers.
Another thing I realized was that, with my new found knowledge, I could potentially write my own forum software. I'm going to be toying with the idea for the next few days while I figure out what I can do with this host, but I have a feeling that is what I'll end up doing. It would be a fun experiment for me, plus if something broke, I would know how to fix it.
One last note: I was poking around Google and realized that this site has been indexed under the Freeweb7 address and the payed domain, but that the former was the one popping up more often. So, just to make sure people know, as people just stumbling here probably don't read all the news entries, you can get to this site by using www.enomineforus.com. Just a note.

I was looking over some lyrics and noticed that I had missed something in the song Exitus. Go check it out for more information.
Also, as the 4 of your that go to the forums may have noticed, there are no more pictures. I don't know why. Not one bit. So, to rectify the problem, and centralize things a little bit, I will be moving the forums onto this server. This means that the old ones will die. Nothing too interesting has happened there, except the Per L'Eternita section, which I will be copying the main thread of. This has yet to be fully solved, by the way, which would explain why it isn't on the site. I'm not completely happy with it.

Update 2: Everything should be working now. After a little muscling my way with a script, the style sheet will change depending on whether or not you have IE. Let me know if any other browsers are having problems. :)
Update 1: For now, IE users, you have what is on the left. Firefox and Internet Explorer seem to have different opinions on percent widths for things. So, until I can get home and write some javascript, Internet Explorer users will have a nav menu that only goes 95% of the way to the edge of the column. It will be fixed eventually. I just have to get around to it.
For you Internet Explorer types, you may have noticed that the left hand menu is a little...spacey. I'm currently working on a way to fix that. In the mean time, you could always switch to Firefox. It's a better browser (in my opinion), and my site is designed with Firefox in mind. I do testing on IE, but FF is my first concern. Ergo, any changes are usually perfected in Firefox first. Just a note :).

You may have noticed something different. I changed the color scheme so it was closer to its roots and the E Nomine feel. I think the site looks much better now. Plus, I changed up the left hand navigation. It's pretty easy to figure out. There are no more nifty arrow things anymore, though. They were mostly just a hassle, it would seem. I hope you don't mind one extra page to get to your lyrics.
I will be putting the Amazon links back to buy the CDs in the coming days, so look forward to that.

Big news everyone. BIG! I had some money to throw around and I did something that has been a long time coming. www.enomineforus.com lives! I'm going to keep the .us.tt address for legacy purposes, but from now on, the site can be accessed using a payed domain name. Yayyyyyy!
Also, sometime soon, there will be a change to the site. It will be a surprise :).

Today I realized, again, just how bad my German was when I first started this site. I fixed up the translation of Angst. It was...bad, to say the least.
In other news, the site is on another new host, which has been much more reliable than the previous. I'm happy with them. They are Freeweb7 if anyone is interested. Not much else going on really...:)

Well, I got a little tech happy today and installed a phpBB forum on the website. It's just a testing ground right now. If you wish to access it, go to enomineforus.us.tt/forums. Leave some feedback on there and let me know if you guys think it's worth switching over (it means losing all the stuff from the other board and having to sign up again). I like it a lot better, though. About a million times more. Other than that, I am on a quest to find a new banner & icon that go with the new theme. If anyone has anything they think would work e-mail me. There's a link at the bottom of every page for that.

Some of you more tech savvy people may have noticed that I switched my host again. I was absolutely sick of Atspace and all the stupidity that came with them. So, I have switched now to 1majorhost. I have more room, more technologies available to me (you might see a phpBB forums or some such around here eventually), and they aren't morons when it comes to life. So, I'm happy...for now...once I move out of this hole into my college dorm, I'm probably going to convert one of my computers into a server and host the website at the school. But for now, I will continute dealing with hosts.
So really, nothing you need to worry about. Just thought I'd let you know that Atspace is stupid. Oh...this also means that I'll have links to CDs back up soon.

As you may have noticed, something is a little different. No, I haven't gotten a hair cut. Nope, my nose is still the same. No...I didn't get my skin bleached. Yes! New clothes! I was getting bored with the black and gray and felt this place needed a little brightening up. In the process, I made the website's skin easier to change by moving all the coloration over to my CSS file. Now instead of painstakingly replacing font parameters for every page, I just change it in the CSS file and all the pages are effected. Thank God for that. This took about 2 hours.

Well, because no one visits the forums I decided I'd bring this tid-bit of information over here. Thevirtuoussin, from the forums, was poking around E Nomine's German forums and found an interesting little topic. It would appear that one of the fans sent an e-mail to Christ Tentum (his e-mail address is inside of every CD booklet) and asked him if the project was still in existance. Christ shot him a message back declaring that they were still around and that we could expect to see more work this fall. So, keep those finger's crossed, because we should be seeing new stuff very soon.
To those who want proof, check out this thread. It's the one thevirtuoussin started and it has a link to an image of the e-mail and a translation I did up really quick. Go express your joy on the forums :-D.
Aside from that I've done some touch ups on a few lyrics where I goofed up, but I've forgotten which songs I changed...nothing major, just little tweeks here and there.

As you may have surmised, today is my birthday and I am now the ripe old age of 17. But, enough about me...
A day or so ago my forwarding service (Joynic) had a bit of an elongated hiccup. I hope you guys didn't miss the site too much, but it is back up, as you can see.
Another little site update is that we have had much more traffic to this site in the past few months and that is very exciting for me. It's nice to see a consistant amount of high numbers when I look at the statistics. For you new-comers, and old-timers alike, we do have a forum set up, which you can find a link to at the top of this page. We have had a few posts recently and they are just begging to be responded to.
Why bring up the forums? Because they're horribly neglected. No one goes to them. It's probably because people sign up and see no new posts. So, they think that there is no one there. Well, in order to create a community of people being there, somebody has to start the community up! In the beginning we had a spark, then it died. Now, we have another spark. This my ultimatum to you guys to try and build a fire.

Okay, I still haven't figured out what to do about the new restrictions my host has given me, but I did do something today.
I just recently managed to hear Wer den Wind Sät and went to my lyrics to check the correctness of them. Turns out, parts of my translations were horridly wrong. It's actually kind of embarassing, when I look at it. hehe. Well, after fixing that, I decided that since I have nothing else to do today, I would look at the lyrics I can get to and make changes where I see neccesary. Also, I'll finally be incorporating some corrections Eminus Mortifera (whoever that may be) has been e-mailing me about. Check back later for a list of songs updated.

Wehe! I am currently writing a very angry e-mail to my host. It appears that in their endless treck to kill phishers, they have disallowed mentioning the name of the site I was previously linking that sold E Nomine's CDs. So, for some amount of time, the site was throwing 500 errors. This page is up and the others will be shortly. Sorry for any inconvenience, but until I can figure something out the "click a cover to buy" section will be dead. I'll update you guys with anything as soon as I figure anything out.

Hey guys. This is just me letting you know I'm not dead. E Nomine just has yet to do anything in a while and the site has had no work to be done on it. I haven't abandoned you guys, I'm just passively maintaining the site for now, hehe.
I also wanted to let you guys know that there is indeed a forum for the website that doesn't seem to be very frequented. I can't understand why. Just, a little reminder that it is there for your use. Go talk about things :).

Upon listening to Wiegenlied from Das Böse I found that there is an intro and outro attached to it. So, I transcribed, checked, and translated it. It's now in the Other lyrics section in the aforementioned song.

I got around to changing those links finally to the forums. They all should point to the new address, now.
Other than that, I have recently decided to start up an affiliate program in a desperate attempt to kick up the traffic here. So, I'll be creating a few banners in the next few days which you can then place on your website, MySpace, Xanga, or whatever other online crap you may be using at this current point in time. More information on that as I get closer to finishing it up.

I have put the Latin translations in the Das Böse lyrics that needed it.
I also updated the translation to Die Weihnachtsgeschichte with a few corrections from a friend named Sonja, who has been given credit at the end of the song.
I also have set up www.e4us-forums.us.tt. Nothing has changed except the address. I'll be changing the links at the top of this page to accomadate for the change soon.

Alright. Some bad news and some moderatley inconvenient news. First, the bad news. Obviously I have yet to have the translations up for Das Böse up. There is a reason, I promise. My Latin cohort was effectivly sick on Friday, and wasn't too much in the realm of available. But, I do promise I'll have them done by the end of this week.
Now for the inconvenient news. There is a problem with the link to the forums...apparently the people at dot.tk are once again screwing with me. I'm going to switch that link to my current short link service within the next few days, and then proceed in changing the links on the site. Hey guys. Sorry about not updating for a month...I was really busy with that real life of mine, but I had a few minutes to breath, so I decided to finish up those Das Böse lyrics. They're currently in partially completed state. The Latin isn't done. I'll try and get my Latin translator to do those with me tommorow, but the German is up and functional. Go check it out.
